Cookies and local storage

CVticket only uses advertising cookies with your consent: Meta’s, to measure how well its ads on Facebook and Instagram perform. Its audience measurement is its own and exempt from consent; everything else is needed for the service to work.

What we store on your device

Your browser’s local storage only keeps what the service needs: your session token (to stay signed in, or to find your guest space), the interface language you chose and your dashboard display preferences.

This information is strictly necessary for the service to work and is never sent to third parties. The price currency you choose is also kept there.

The cvpro_consent cookie keeps your choice about advertising cookies for 6 months: it is needed to respect it, and our servers read it so that nothing is sent to Meta without your consent.

Audience measurement

To count the site’s visits and unique visitors, and to know where they come from (a campaign link, the previous site), your browser keeps a random identifier and the origin of your first visit, for 13 months at most. They are only used for CVticket’s statistics, never shared with third parties or matched with other sites: this measurement is exempt from consent under the CNIL’s guidelines.

You can object by clearing the site’s data in your browser or by writing to [email protected]. The mobile app does not perform this measurement.

Advertising cookies (Meta)

Only with your consent, the Meta pixel is loaded on the site. It sets the _fbp cookie (an identifier for your browser) and, if you arrive through an ad, _fbc (the click identifier), for 90 days at most, and sends the pages viewed on the site to Meta.

Our servers also send Meta some of your actions on CVticket (first document created, sign-up, checkout started, trial, subscription, purchase, first PDF download), with the amount of a purchase and hashed identifiers (email address, first name, last name, account identifier), never the content of your documents.

Meta uses them to measure and improve our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, and also for its own purposes, described in its privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). Details are in our privacy policy.

The pixel is never loaded on pages containing a security link (address confirmation, password), nor in the mobile app, which sends nothing to Meta.

Your choice

A banner asks you on your first visit: “Accept” or “Refuse”, each as simple as the other. Until you answer, nothing is set or sent.

Your choice is kept for 6 months, then asked again. You can change it at any time from “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page of the site, or with the button below. If you refuse, Meta’s cookies are deleted and nothing more is sent.

Payment

Payment takes place on Stripe’s secure page, on its own website: Stripe may set the cookies needed for payment and fraud prevention there, as described in its policy (stripe.com/cookie-settings). No Stripe cookie is set on CVticket.

How to delete it

You can clear it at any time from your browser settings (site data). You will then be signed out; without an account, your guest space will no longer be accessible.

Changes

If we add another service that sets cookies or change how these are used, we will update this page and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
